A music and film festival plus back-to-school giveaways planned for Saturday at Empire Outlets

STATEN ISLAND, NY – The Roc-A-Natural Cultural Foundation, Inc. and Secta 5 Prod LLC will present “Taking It To The Streets Back to School Film & Festival” at Empire Outlets on Saturday, September 17 from 11 a.m. to 8 a.m. . pm

The event will feature back-to-school giveaways, a DJ, live bands and performances by the Brighton Heights Youth Orchestra, the Financial Literacy for Youth Workshop with Northfield Bank, a Chess Workshop and a Chess Tournament unrated led by Kills. Boro Chess Club – before the featured Disney movie, Queen of Katwe screens at 5 p.m.

Community organizations, churches and local businesses will participate in a back-to-school event filled with supplies, book bags, toiletries and gift cards to help students through the school year.

A free t-shirt giveaway from Daddylizard will be provided while supplies last, while they share cryptocurrency and investing insights.
